The Covid-19 pandemic brought about lockdowns that made it difficult for physical events to hold. NAFDAC (The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control), consulted Edubridge to help with digital marketing, branding and live streaming a multi-location event, involving several senior government offices (Vice-President, Bank of Industry, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria).
The Objective
As NAFDAC Launched it’s digital platform for SME registration, the agency wanted SMEs across Nigeria to interactively be a part of the launch event and get access to some of its government sponsored palliatives. The task was to reach more than 5,000 SMEs across the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria with branded creatives that will inform the stakeholders and the public in general about it’s effort and programs. The program was to be hitch free and have the ability to get engagement from both speakers and attendees.
Outcome
Edubridge ensured that the NAFDAC Nationwide palliatives for SMES virtual event had a smooth run with the Vice president’s Office, NAFDAC offices in Lagos, Abuja, Benin, Ibadan, Enugu, Niger and several other locations connected to the multi-location event. The marketing campaign had more than 5,000 sign-ups with more than 10,000 attendees across Youtube and Facebook. The event generated quite some buzz on Twitter with a commendation from NAFDAC’s Director General, Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye.
